Privacy Options
ceoMom offers privacy options to make you feel comfortable about using our website. Your last name and email address are never shown and are used only for ceoMom to communicate with you. Within your Portfolio, you have privacy options for various areas such as your birth date or number of children. You can choose whether only your Associates (registered friends) can view this information or all registered users. Your Daybook and Photo Albums have an additional privacy option allowing you to open your Daybook and Photo Albums to anyone on the web. We created this option for you, so you can allow unregistered users such as Grandma and Grandpa to view your posts.
Privacy Policy
This policy covers how ceoMom, a Utah LLC ("ceoMom," "ceoMom.com," "ceoMom dot com," "we," "us," or "our") treats personal information that it collects and receives on ceoMom. Information you share with us is used for ceoMom's business purposes. ceoMom is not in the business of selling information about you. This notice tells you what information we collect, steps we take to protect and secure it, how we use and share information and finally, how you can contact us with questions or concerns.
Information We Collect
When you register with us or use ceoMom Services ("Services") including posts, we collect personal information about you. We may also collect personal information when you enter into promotions or giveaways or when we collect information about your transactions with us or with business partners. This information might include necessary information to process payments such as your credit card. In addition, we may receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookies and the pages you request.
IP Address
ceoMom may obtain your IP address, browser and session information from time to time for various reasons including diagnosing or preventing technology problems, calculating the user traffic to ceoMom based on specific geographical locations, to disable certain users who have abused the site and to provide more relevant advertisements.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of information sent to a browser by a web server. The browser then returns that information to the web server and is stored on your hard drive. You can set your browser to reject all cookies, but you may not be able to use ceoMom Services to the full extent. ceoMom uses its cookies for a number of purposes including password management, keeping track of preferences you specify, estimating the total ceoMom website traffic, improving the content and Services of the website and managing advertisements. ceoMom may allow third parties to set and access their cookies on your computer. Other's use of cookies is subject to their own Privacy Policies and not by this Policy. Third parties do not have access to ceoMom's cookies.
Information Relating to Children
Users under the age of 13 are prohibited from using ceoMom. If you are under the age of 13, please do not attempt to register with ceoMom. In the event we learn a user under the age of 13 has registered, we will delete their information. We recommend minors between the ages of 13 and 18 ask their parents for permission before registering.
Use of Information, Sharing and Disclosure
ceoMom does not share personal information we learn about you from your use of ceoMom Services with others except as described in this policy. However, when you provide personal information through the use of ceoMom Services, you are also potentially sharing your personal information with ceoMom's affiliated third parties. We do not share your information with unrelated third parties. We may, however, display targeted advertisements based on personally non-identifiable information such as IP address or browser type.
ceoMom may need to use or share your personal information when it is necessary to complete a transaction, to operate or improve ceoMom Services, to accommodate a request from you or to offer you products or services that may be of interest to you.
ceoMom or a third party may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake or contest on ceoMom from time to time. When entering one of these, you may be asked to provide personal information including your name, email address, home address or to answer questions in order to participate. If you request to receive information from a third party, ceoMom may transfer your personal information to the third party. We will do our best to make it clear as to who is collecting the information and whose privacy policy will apply.
In the event you are contacted with an email, offer or service based on information you have shared with ceoMom, we will do our best to provide you with an opt-out option to discontinue such communication. We do, however, reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to ceoMom Services such as maintenance issues and the ceoMom newsletter, which are considered part of your ceoMom account, which may not offer the opt-out option.
At the time of registration, ceoMom collects your user-submitted information such as your name, email address and age to identify users and communicate notifications related to the use of ceoMom Services. We also collect your user-submitted profile information such as your location, personal information and interests. This information builds your profile and assists others in finding and communicating with you as well as giving you the opportunity to find others.
ceoMom will display your ceoMom number and first name or "Display Name" on your Portfolio. Additionally, ceoMom will display any user-submitted profile information on your Portfolio, daybook/blog and photo albums. This information is provided by you and at your discretion.
ceoMom allows users to search for other Members by using your "Display Name" and personal information such as the Divisions ("groups") you join, your location and interests. When a user invites a friend to join outside the network or when a ceoMom sends messages to the user related to their use of the Services, ceoMom may user a user's email address and name.
When you post a Daybook/blog entry or post a message or tip of any kind, you have the ability to post personally identifiable information about yourself. Please be aware, this may result in unsolicited messages, etc. from other parties in return.
ceoMom may share personally identifiable information about you under the following circumstances:
In the operation of our business, it may be necessary and/or appropriate for us to provide access to your personal information to others such as our service providers, partners and vendors so that we can continue to operate ceoMom. We do our best to obtain confidentiality agreements that are consistent with this policy and that limit other's use of the information you have provided.
We may be required or find appropriate to share your personal information to respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
We may share your personal information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding any illegal activities, violations of our Terms of Use, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or as otherwise required by law.
In the operation of our business, we may decide to buy or sell all or part of our business. Your personally identifiable information you have provided will be transferred in such transactions; however, your information will remain subject to this Privacy Policy or subsequent updates, changes and/or policies to which you have consented.
Third Party Advertising
ceoMom does not share any personally identifiable information with third party advertisers. We may provide general information such as IP address, browser type or demographic information to third party advertisers and partners. ceoMom does not provide others access to your Account. By selecting or viewing an advertisement, you are consenting to the potential that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad. These ads may be delivered to Users by ceoMom or one of our advertising partners. These third parties may set cookies to allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement and the ad servers may compile information about you resulting in more targeted advertisements. This privacy policy covers the use of cookies by ceoMom and does not cover the use of cookies by third parties.

ceoMom will do everything to protect your confidentiality and security. We use procedural safeguards to protect your information and your account is password-protected. However, because no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we cannot ensure or warrant the protection of any information you provide to us and you do so at your own risk. If we learn of a security breach, we may attempt to contact you via email or post a notice on our homepage so that you can take appropriate protective steps if needed.
Changing Your Personal Information
At any time, you can edit your account information with ceoMom. Your personal information, for the most part, is optional and up to you. We may retain your information for record keeping to protect our legal interests or to comply with regulatory requirements.
