When did you move your toddler to a bed? Any tips?

Description: My daughter is 2.5 and we're thinking it's time to move her to a toddler bed. She seems interested and says she wants a big girl bed but I'm terrified we'll lose naps if make the switch ( she doesn't love naps anyway). When did you transition and how did you do it? Thanks! Alexis
