How do other single moms mange to keep everything together?

Description: I work, I'm a mom who plays both the mom and "dad" role in our house and I love my daughter more than anything in the world. I knew I was going to be raising my daughter alone due to the fact that she was concieved by an awful act of crime and trauma and at 19, I didn't know exactly how much my life was going to change but I knew it would in so many ways. All I knew was that I felt very strongly about keeping the baby and doing my best to give her the best life. Fast forward 5 years, my little girl is 5 now, I'm 25 and my perspective on the world has changed greatly but my faith and approach in life is different. I want to know, how do other single moms manage to budget, keep enough money in the bank to pay rent and other bills when there is virtually no public assistance programs I'm eligible for as they tell me "I make too much money". With $19 in my checking acct, having just borrowed my entire June rent payment, juggling camp payments and lingering preschool payments I just can't seem to shake and on top of it, I do not have a compassionate, supportive family who you would think would help someone in my situation out. I know being a single parent is difficult. I'm just really starting to bellieve it's nearly impossible. I didn't finish my college degree since I had my daughter right in the middle of College and did not return after she was born. Since, I've been working in various industries as an administrative assistant, as well as bartending or serving in restaurants. I live in a pretty expensive part of NY right outside of Manhattan. I would love to just pick up and move somewhere affordable in the Country, but with my lack of degree and no support from really anywhere, I'm really scared I'm not going to be able to keep it all together.
