Removing black sharpie marker from my chair cushion?

Description: My two year old scribbled with a black sharpie on a chair cushion. The fabric is a sort of light brown suede. I am really sad--just barely had this chair recovered. Tried my Mr. Clean erase sponge--didn't work. Any ideas?
