What to do when a good friend can't connect with you any longer

Description: My really good friend from childhood is having a hard time connecting with me now that I have a baby. She calls less, invites less and snaps at me when I try to talk...As a new mommy, I don't want to leave her behind but I am starting to feel like I am wasting my energy on her. That sound horrible to say but I don't want the negative energy........Has this happen to anyone? She doesn't have any children....
