If your kid is anything like mine, they waste a TON of paper when they draw. Because it's not just wasteful - it's costly too - I decided to laminate a few sheets of paper. My son draws with washable crayons (they're water-based and wash right off) or he can use dry erase markers if he's got mom or dad over his shoulder. These are also great for practicing writing his name, etc.
