I bought a few pairs of socks and used some puffy paint to decorate seasonal "slippers" for my kids. They do some double-duty and act as a slip-resistant surfaces as well! For example, I used red socks and green paint and painted Christmas trees and stars; more red socks with white hearts for Valentine's; and for Easter...you can mix and match some different pastels for some crazy socks! Or just puffy paint polka dots or their name on the bottom.
Want to teach them too? Paint "right" and "left" and see if they can get them on right!
