ceoMom 214, Jody, has asked a question about the Establishment Date on her Executive Summary as she has worked on her Family Plan:
"I am really behind on setting up my family plan and I began to wonder why I was putting it off. Well I found out why - I'm stuck on the Executive Summary. I don't know what date to put that my family was established. I am a divorced single mom and my family now consists of me and my 4-year old daughter. Should I put the date she was born or the date that I was married because that is technically when the family began (just someone decided to leave the family). I have been going back and forth and thought I would seek advice from my fellow ceoMoms."
My advice would to certainly go with the date of your daughter's birth. She is your family now and the Plan is for you and her. You could also omit that part entirely and only focus on the now and future. May I also add how proud I am of you! You go girlfriend!
