Here's just a few ideas to Go Green:
1) Put your electronic devices on a power strip (eg. DVD, stereo, phone chargers...) and turn off the power strip when these items are not in use.
2) Buy organic and ideally, local, produce.
3) Use biodegradable, nontoxic products not only for cleaning, but also for home remodeling/updates. There are a lot of non-toxic paints, sealers.....
4) Put in low-flow dual flush toilets
It's great that you are wanting to do as much as possible to go green. I have similar goals and really want to start teaching my daughter now the importance of respecting our environment and doing what we can to sustain our limited resources and protect the world we live in.
