Going to Bed Later

My first grader has started going to bed later over the last few months. I think it has to do with daylight savings. It's so hard to go to bed when it's light outside and you can hear older kids out playing! I think you're fine letting your kids go to sleep when they're ready as long as it isn't affecting their morning routine. My little girl needs a little more sleep, so we're still struggling with getting her to sleep earlier!

This is great advice. I realized that my daughter seemed perfectly fine during the day, even though she was going to bed at 10:00 PM. I hadn't thought about the daylight savings being a cause, but I can see that now. Regardless, she is doing fine. And now she even gets an extra hour of reading in at night!
