ceoMom 639, Theresa: You're already a hero! Bringing up a child is precious and not for wimps.
Making lists and planning ahead got me through the first year with my son. I sent him and his Dad away for the day one Saturday and sat down with paper, pens and markers. I listed everything I wanted to do in a week, chose regular stuff, spontaneous days/moments, what to pack in the baby bag, anything that I thought of at the time. Then I made lists of what to do and sometimes added "how to" notes.
I put up the lists on the inside of my cupboard until the "process" became embedded in my brain. It helped to "see" everything written down and over time I managed to tackle other bigger stuff.
I hope this helps you as much as it worked for me.
All the best with your baby and your life.
