Install Decorative Window Film for Privacy

Both of our bathrooms have nice windows in them, except for the fact that we have blinds covering the windows. It's silly, because who wants to open blinds in the bathroom? So it always seems dark in there with no natural light coming through. I heard about decorative window film that resembles etched glass and thought I'd give it a try. I love it!

It was way easy to install (I did it myself). You simply cut the film with an X-acto knife or even a pair of scissors would work, wet the window and place it on. It looks so pretty! No one can see in and natural light is coming through.

I used a product sold at Home Depot called "Light Effects." They have several designs including a stained glass effect. It is about $20 per roll.

Check this out, absolutely gorgeous. This info could not have been coming at a better time. I am (actually my contractors) are just about done with the remodel of my master bathroom and I was wondering what I am going to do with those ugly blinds in the window?
Problem solved.
