Knitting, Crocheting and Beadwork

I never thought I'd arrive at the day when I'd find knitting or crocheting FUN! I mean really, I'm only 40!

Thanks to my son's school I've been introduced to all kinds of crafts. We have a fair in the last quarter every year and parents have to make the crafts to sell at the fair. This year we're making a Babette Blanket to raffle. Our class is making beans bags and Princess crowns!

So here I am, having FUN crocheting squares of all sizes, and finding time to knit a scarf for my son (in a weekend).

Next term we're making the other stuff. Can't wait to start! :-)

How wonderful to find someone else who enjoys knitting and crocheting. I've learned knitting as a child in school and throughout my life improved my skill level. Not so with crocheting though. A friend of mine, who in my eyes is an absolute "Crocheting Master" patiently taught me for years before I reached an advanced level. Now I am able to follow patterns or make up anything I like.
I have so much fun creating with my hands and always have a project.
