Legal Aid in Westchester County NY unfortunately told me I make too much $$ to get legal aide - I have no clue what you have to make to be eligible but they basically laughed at me and told me to retain an attorney.
My monthly expenses are $2500 & I take home$2000 monthly - I don't know how I make too much money - I did learn that I can take them to small claims court for any of my damaged property, medical bills & time lost from work - AS LONG AS I HAVE a signed statement from the Town Building Department stating that I personally could not have caused the mold to grow. Whicch he may or may not do but it's just such a hassle and a process I know nothing about.
