I have a theory about New Year's resolutions. Most of us know by now that making a goal at the beginning of the year doesn't always work or maybe it seldom does. So, I leave my "serious" goal making for the other 364 days of the year where the pressure isn't so much. Then I make my New Year's resolution something FUN and that I'll enjoy doing all year through. Examples are: dance more with my kids, play music really loud when no one is around, buy my favorite chocolate (the kind I always pass by at the store), have more lunch dates with my friends or save enough money to buy the purse I really want. This way, it is just fun and that is the way I want to start my year out!
