A friend of mine just past on some of the most delicious smoothie recipes to me. As a Vegetarian I always look for new ways to make nutritious meals or snacks.
You may use whichever fruit or greens you prefer, but it is suggested that you include a variety of different types to best achieve optimal nutrient diversity. Fresh herbs, including garlic and ginger, may also be added to taste. The proportion of fruit/greens/water may also vary based on your personal preferences. Start with the following recipes and adjust to your taste.
All recipes below are meant to be blended together. I use the Magic Bullet high speed blender which yields better results in only seconds.
Smoothies will last up to three days refrigerated. If settling occurs, simply shake and enjoy.
