Get Your Toddler to Stay in Bed

ceoMom 785, Amanda

When you move your toddler from crib to bed try this tip! It worked for me. It takes some time and lots of deep breathing. LOL! OK, after your normal bedtime routine put your toddler in their twin/toddler bed. They are going to LOVE this freedom and pop up every second. Lay down next to them, no talking, from you, don't respond to what they say or do, be a statue. When they pop up gently take your arm and push them back down and say: "time to go to bed." After doing this every night for two weeks, my son STOPPED getting out of bed. I swear I must have had to push him back down hundreds of times in those two weeks, but eventually he would fall asleep. This worked great for me! Good Luck!
