Work at Home

ceoMom 852, Michelle

In all honesty, I have not found much of real work at home as in an employee...You can try posting a resume on Craigslist (be VERY cautious about personal details!) and be specific about working form home and of course check out the validity of anyone who responds.

Aside from that, I would recommend finding something you are passionate about and starting your own business doing that. It is risky but so much of those "work from home" opportunities are a scam! Sometimes, you just want a job where someone pays you for work and end of subject! Good luck!

Really great advice here! My next door neighbor has a great at-home business teaching preschool. Another mom down the street teaches ballet in her basement to toddlers and kindergartners. Another friend of mine sells ballet tutus and hair bows. And yet another friend of mine does part time accounting work from home (which she found listed on Craigslist). You just got to get creative and like you said, find your passion!

I don't know where I read this but LEt your vision guide you and your passion drive you! When I was working we realized that about 60% of my pay went to the cost of working...taxes, gas, fast food, etc...and my passion..my kids..was suffering. Didn't take long to jump that ship! I am at home and love it, even when I want to pull my hair out!!! Ha ha ha!
