Trading TV for Books

We too have done TV tickets. The program that worked best for us was allotting so many hours a week for TV and placing according tickets in a pocket folder for each child. Every time our girls willingly spent their TV time doing something else, we moved a ticket into a special book folder. After they had accumulated the specified number of book tickets, we went to the book store and chose a new book for their own "library."
