Get the Mustly, Mildewy Smell Out of Your Towels

Have you ever been using your bath towel and noticed that it has a less than desirable smell to it, even after being washed? Or you accidentally left a load of laundry in the washer too long? And you definitely don't want to Clorox it! Try adding 1/2 cup of Washing Soda to your laundry load. It is from Arm & Hammer and comes in a yellow box about the same size as a grape-nuts box. It takes the smell out with no effort whatsoever on your part.

I put it in every load I wash. It helps to make everything smell a little better, and also helps to take out some of those spots on clothes that you overlooked before throwing them in.
