Boost Your Energy

There are some times when you really should try to take that nap, but sometimes all you need is a quick boost to get through a little more of the day. Getting in some natural sunlight and fresh air is one of the best things for this. Take your kids on a walk or a bike ride, play with them in your backyard or at the park. Even taking just a few minutes should help.

A light snack might also be the answer. Heavy meals few and far between really will weigh you down, so if you can eat just a little bit at a time throughout the day (but try not to eat any more than you should!) often helps as well.

Also, don't forget to smile! It gives you a natural boost, and while you still may be tired, you'll be happier.

That is awesome advice! Thanks! I agree that when I am outside with the kids I tend to forget how tired I am.
