I have to admit I am not the best teacher for my children (thank heaven for school)! I also have to admit I am in my car way too much. But I was amazed a month ago when I was in line at Cafe Rio with my restless 2-year old and was trying to entertain her when I pointed to a letter and she new the sound and the letter! I was amazed!

She new every letter and sound I asked her. I came to realize all that time in my car with her watching LeapFrog Letter Factory had paid off!! She was only two and knew all her letters and sounds!

LeapFrog videos are so fun for my kids (even 7- and 8-year olds love them)! You can get them at Costco for $7.

I too have purchased this DVD and my kids love it! My little guy was drawing a letter "J" and telling me the sound it makes! Well worth the $7-9 investment! I bought mine at Target! The Word Factory DVD is also a great one for those just learning to put words together!!

I highly approve this video too. My little boy was saying kkk-kick and tapping t at two as well. I recommend it to my clients with disabilities as well. It is very visual and attacks the brain with many modalities. There is a great magnet set to go along with it as well. One client even put it on the back of their front door and began spelling words with the magnets after they left the letters behind.
