Squares or Triangles?

Choice is HUGE when you are a kid. Giving choices helps a child to have control and "own" their decisions. I have found that one way to get my children it eat quicker, easier, and even sometimes what I want them to eat is to give them the choice of how I will cut the sandwich. They get so caught up in the decision that they sometimes forget to argue about what I am fixing (yes, I have extremely picky eaters!)

Once they are in charge of me, we no longer have as many battles. I even have a fancy circle sandwich maker from Pampered Chef and bring it out when I need the big guns. Such a simple solution to a big problem for my kids!
