I've been thinking lately, especially with gas prices so high ($3.80 a gallon in Grovetown), of ways to cut down on gas use and be more "green." Car Pools are the way to go.
Where we live, it is pretty far from everything. To take my son to school is 7.5 miles one way, so it guzzles up a lot of gas. So I decided to put together a car pool so that at least it would cut down on other people having to drive the same distance. I am the mom who drives the car pool each day (because I am the only mom that doesn't work outside of my home), but at least it makes it so less cars and less gas are being used. With gas prices going up, I will be looking for more ways to carpool to more things!
