Organize Your Photographs

I'm a scrapbooker, so when I get my pictures printed, I always get doubles. When I get home, I immediately write the date and the names of the people in the picture on the back of one of the prints. Then both copies go in an album. When I get ready to scrapbook, I pull out the picture(s) that I feel like working with. I scrapbook the ones that don't have the writing on the back, but I can look at the other one to find out dates and pertinent information. I find this process doesn't leave gaps in my albums and it helps me keep my pictures neat and organized.

This is a great idea. I have so many old pictures that i am trying to figure out how to store. I Think I will add them to the alnbums that I have already started. I would love to scrapbook and have all of the stuff, but time is a problem. Maybe when my youngest goes to school. Do you get prints of all of your digital photos? We have just been storing them on the hard drives?

Christy- I filter my digital photos and print only the best ones. The rest I store on my hard drive.
