Sharing a Room Builds Relationships

ceoMom 339, Staci

I have 2 boys and a girl. Our house has enough rooms that they could each have their own room; however, the boys (ages 3 and 5) do much better together. We had them in separate rooms and the younger one would sneak and sleep in the older one's bedroom. Now the older one won't sleep without the younger one. We moved their beds into the same room and they do great. They love each other and they love to spend time together.

I remember sharing a room with my sister. The time will come when they will need their own space. They will tell you when that is, but while they are young, let them share!

My two girls do the same thing! They each have their own room, but sleep together every night. I have started to wonder if they should be sharing a room. I think it helps them to have each other. They don't get scared of the dark and they are truly closer for it.
