Doing dishes with a little better attitude

A friend of mine shared this saying with me and I had it made on a board with vinyl lettering. It's hanging above my kitchen sink and whenever I don't feel like doing my dishes, I read this:

Thank God for dirty dishes.
They have a tale to tell.
While others may go hungry,
we are eating very well.

This just gives me a better perspective and also teaches my children about how fortunate we are.
