Crafts With Less Mess

ceoMom 213, Randi

Instead of getting rid of old T-shirts and other shirts, I use them as smocks for the kids. When they are finished with a craft or whatever, the shirt comes off and the clothes underneath are still clean. I keep them always in the same place where the kids can get them. It is a great way to recycle old clothes!

I suppose this could apply to cooking as well.

I do this as well and it's amazing! It sure makes clean up a breeze. I need to start doing this too when the kids help cook! Great tip!

I was in the process replacing my students old smocks and sew new ones. Thanks to your great tip I will collect my old shirts and call it a day.
Fantastic. Thank you.

We use these in my preschool as well. The best thing of all is that the kids expect you to wear one as well and you can. It is always good be one of the kids and meet them on their level.
