Fairly easy recipe. In the end, it's quite like potato soup.

2 cups chopped onions
8-10 cups zucchini (un-peeled and chopped)
4 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp pepper

Cook in a large pot until zucchini is transparent. Then, add up to 1/2 lb of fried bacon to the soup, and enjoy!

Have fun with your garden!

Thanks for the recipe, I am vegetarian, but I could motify it easily. Do you serve the soup right away or could you cook this in a crockpot?

I've had it both ways - because it's not milk based, there's no worry about it cooking too long or boiling.
