Travel Tips: Medications

I was just reminded on our recent vacation how important it is to pack medications for our little one, even when we don't think we'll need it. We found ourselves in the middle of the night with a child with a fever, and no rental car to rush out and get some baby Motrin. Normally I always carry Motrin, Benadryl, and other medications even if I don't think we'll need it. But somehow in a rush we missed it this time. Also, throw in a thermometer so you'll know just what your little one's temperature is. We haven't traveled with a thermometer in the past, but we will from now on.

Benadryl now makes individual serving sizes of liquid Benadryl in an easily dispensable one use spoon, as well as strips similar to the Lysterine breath strips. As we have a daughter with allergies, this has been AWESOME to carry around in my purse at all times without having to take a huge bottle of the liquid everywhere we go.
