Who Needs a Guy

I have a senior this year and a junior right behind her (although one is a boy and the other a girl) and both have had big dances they were not invited to. So it's still their school and they went. Sometimes with each other and sometimes in a huge group of kids. Just this last week my daughter had not been invited to homecoming and my son had been rejected, so guess what? They got together with others that did not have dates of the opposite sex and I have a great picture of seven kids having the time of their life.

My point: WHO NEEDS A DATE!!!

It is difficult when the child claims that "everyone else has a date". All of the friends in her group of friends had dates. I used it as a opportunity to encourage her to find new friends as well as keep the old ones. There has to be someone in the school that didn't have a date that needs and/or wants my daughter as their friend.
