Go Green Cleaning

I am trying to replace my cleaning supplies for environmentally safe products. It's better for our homes, our health and the environment.

ceoMom 237, Wendy, specifically asked about alternatives to the plastic scrubbers we use in the kitchen. Although I haven't found the perfect scrubber yet, I did switch to a sponge type scrubber that is better than plastic (and it cleans just as well or even better). The brand is called: "Arden Clean" in a blue wrapper. Basically it has a sponge inside wrapped in a netting to keep the sponge from breaking. Then on one side it has a soft cloth. The netting side scrubs and the soft side is great for gentle cleaning.

Also, these sponges can be washed in the dishwasher and used for a long time before you need to dispose. The old ones can be used to clean the floor, walls or blinds in your house too.
