How to Help a Colicy Baby Sleep Better

I have a 10-month old son. He is so wonderful, but when he was a small infant he had colic. I felt helpless at times in helping him feel better and be happy. I knew that if he got some good rest that it would help him.

I researched several ideas, but I found a great idea that really helped him sleep better and longer. I ordered a white noise CD off the internet. I put it in the CD player and made sure it was on repeat. Then I played it softly while he slept.

Even though it didn't solve all his colic behaviors, it still worked wonders! I felt better about things and my son was happier.

First of all, let me share with you my sincere empathy. When my daughter was an infant I was dealing with the colic and acid reflux. Every night, she slept with white noise put on repeat. She liked the vaccum cleaner. If ever it would turn off, she was up screaming. Also, I found that swaddling really tight worked wonders also. Congrats on making it through - I'm sure you felt at times that it would never end. I did and it does end ---THANK GOODNESS!!
