Hi ceoMoms - Let's start out our Wednesday with a big high five! We're half way through the week! On Monday I learned "once again" how bad sugar is on a mom. I ate an entire container of chocolate covered raisins and had a soda. Sheesh! By mid-day I had a headache, felt beyond sluggish and just wanted to nap all day, which I did, so my night's rest was ruined.
Tuesday came and I knew I needed to go on sugar-detox and that meant NO sugar all day. I certainly appreciated the tip that came in from ceoMom 216, Heidi on the 8 foods we should eat every day. I didn't notice that sugar was on the list, but walnuts and blueberries were. Maybe I should snack on those instead. I then did an hour of Yoga at home with my three-year old jumping on top of me or trying to crawl under me. That was challenging, but I didn't waver. And so for today, I'm giving myself a high-five! I broke through the sugar wall.
