on the job training for the Executive Domestic
Dear ceoMoms – I hope you all had a great Mother’s Day yesterday! If you were lucky, you got breakfast in bed, an afternoon nap and didn’t have to make dinner (or clean it up). Well, you can’t ask for everything, so I hope you at least got one of those!
Mother’s Day is now over and it’s back to the good ol’ daily grind: Laundry, dishes, poopy diapers, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Well, here’s a good quote to think about:
“Cultivate enthusiasm, for it brings new life into old tasks and humor and joy into dull situations.” We all know everything is about our attitudes and not the chores ahead of us. There’s got to be a way to make dishes fun or laundry doable. I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas on just how to do this. I do it all for the end result. I love a clean house. I swear I think clearer and do better when I’m not in the middle of mess and chaos. What is your motivation?
Don’t forget to write in your Daybooks! We love hearing your thoughts and stories. You are inspiring, funny and a great mom!
Love,
ceoMom 101
