on the job training for the Executive Domestic

Hi ceoMoms -- First, I am sorry this is a bit late. What can I say? I slept in, made a special breakfast for my kids and took it easy (I finally got dressed for the day too).

I just wanted to wish you each a happy Memorial Day. I was touched by reading the Daybook entry by ceoMom 306, Connie who wrote about her grandmother's love for lemon pie. Today is a special day to remember our grandmas and grandpas, those who have come before us and those who may have left us too soon.

It is also a special day to celebrate life, our families and our children. It is a great time to reflect on our roles as mothers and how we are choosing to raise our kids. It's the little things, the big things, the moments. That's what makes our lives memorable.

So perhaps today we can celebrate all that makes life wonderful. For me, it's the special people (some here and some not), the beautiful flowers that bring such peace, the weeds that bring hard work and most importantly my children who encompass all that is right in the world.

Love,
ceoMom 101
