on the job training for the Executive Domestic

Hi ceoMoms - I hope you're having a great day! I sometimes find that we moms like to stress about things all the time. Life is too short to worry. In fact worrying never does solve problems. It just makes you sick and often times make the issue worse. Wouldn't it be nice to separate the stress from the problem and just try to solve it along the way?

I recently heard a story of a man who "worried" about paying his bills. Many of us moms have or do experience this from time to time. The advice given to this man made so much to sense to me and something that we could all apply to various aspects of our "stressful" lives. The advice was simple: Worrying will not pay your bills. A much more powerful tool is to stay calm and in control of the situation. Look at your bills and pay them. If there's not enough money, look for a solution. Solve it. Take the emotion out of it and you'll be able to think clearly and act rationally. The stress will also not spill over into your relationships, making life difficult on many ends.

We can take this advice and apply it to all aspects of our crazy mom lives. Take the stress out, act powerfully and love more!

Make today a great "mom" day!

Love,
ceoMom 101
