on the job training for the Executive Domestic
Hello ceoMoms -- I hope you are having a great week and listening not only to your children, but to yourself. A mother's intuition is one of your biggest assets. It's great to get advice from family, friends and even fellow moms, but ultimately you possess the answer. This is especially important when having to make decisions that affect your family from hiring the right babysitter to deciding where to live. on the job training for the Executive Domestic
I had a good friend of mine once tell me about her decision to hire a particular babysitter. She said she didn't really feel good about it, but wanted to give the person the benefit of the doubt. The situation ultimately ended and it wasn't pretty. I'll never forget what my friend said: "I knew it and I didn't listen to myself."
In order to make sure we are "available" to ourselves, we need to slow down a bit. Or maybe get more sleep. Or perhaps the only thing we really need to do is listen in those times of decision making and trust our guts. The answers are there.
Love,
