way to be a perfect mother, and a million ways to be a good one.”on the job training for the Executive Domestic
Look, motherhood is simply not about being “perfect.” How boring would life be if we woke up smiling, twirled with the laundry basket and baked cupcakes by noon? Come on. It’s way more fun to wake up cranky, pull your hair back and burn the kiesh in the oven.
The secret is this: Laughter! It’s all fun and games. So what if you got a bad start in the morning or if dinner is ruined (again). Just laugh about it. Laugh, laugh, laugh. Chuckle as loud as you can. And in that moment, you’ll forget you ever wanted to be perfect.
