Hello ceoMoms - I hope you're all having a super day! Isn't today a fantastic day? It can, right now, if you know the secret to mothering. It's all about connecting. That's it! If you "connect" with each of your kids for even just a few minutes a day, miracles will happen. You'll actually gain confidence as a mom and better yet, your kids will feel completely loved and protected. There is no greater gift to a child than your time.

Here's  how to do it: 1. Stop thinking. You worry too much. You fret about the past and you are scared of the future. For five minutes today, stop all the chatter in your mind and just simply be in the present moment.

2. Drop everything (the laundry, the dishes, answering the phone...), sit on the floor and let your kids jump on you and crawl into your lap.

3. Connect. By doing steps one and two, you are ready to connect. Ask your kids questions and then listen. Give them your FULL attention for a few minutes or longer. See how they love it!

It only takes a few minutes every day, but this is what mothering is all about. Sure, we have to get our responsibilities done every day too, but we do all of that just to connect as mother and child. Happiness comes only now.
