Fallacy of Thoughts
When asked to write about the humor that we see in our world as mothers I am always drawn to what I tenderly like to call fallacy of thoughts; or the literalness of children’s minds. In my children’s books I have recorded example after example of this. Like the time that Caleb grabbed a towel before going to my friend’s baby shower, or the time when Kam asked for a boy cheese sandwich instead of a girl cheese sandwich (grilled). These little insights into their world and the way they make sense of it provide a lot of humor that I love to see in every day life. I love the preschool age. It all makes such great sense to me.
